Minoxidil has been approved by the FDA for use by women. Minoxidil has been tested to treat the middle to back area of the head, which is referred to as the vertex. It is effective in treating hereditary hair loss. The makers of Minoxidil have not specifically studied the effect of Minoxidil on the frontal areas of the head. Directions: For best results, apply 1 ml with the dropper or sprayer (6 sprays) 2 times a day directly onto the scalp in the hair loss area. Using more or using more often does not improve results. Each bottle should last 25-30 days, if used as directed. Do not use on other parts of the body.
